Fire Prevention School Visits
Friday, October 14, 2011
-
Clifton Heights Firefighters as well as EMS staff attended local day care and nursery schools to teach about fire safety.  The children enjoyed the visit as they learned important fire prevention techniques along with safe exit plans in a fire situation.  Most of the smiles came when able to operate the hose line 1"3/4 off of 03-1.

Job well done by the crews who made this a memorable day.

Fire Prevention Open House

Friday, October 14, 2011
-
The Clifton Heights Fire Company annual fire prevention open house was a success.  Smoke detectors were given out to borough residents as well as important and useful information on fire safety and prevention for both children and adults.  The Clifton Heights Police Dept. had fingerprinting available for children.  Station tours, fire apparatus including the three antiques, and a hose line for kids to try their hand were all a big hit.

Thank you to all who attended.

9/11 Memorial Dedication

Sunday, September 11, 2011
-
The Clifton Heights Fire Company held a dedication ceremony for the newly constructed 9/11 memorial to honor those who lost their lives on that tragic day with a special meaning behind the brave 343 firefighters who passed.

Through the great efforts of Jerry DePompeo we were able to to acquire a piece of steel from the World Trade Center Towers which is above a replica twin tower and Pentagon base.  We would like to thank all of the members of the CHFC for their hard work and time spent on the completion and planning of the dedication.  A special thanks goes out to the memorial committee who pulled this all together.  Many man hours were put in to give this memorial a proper home in the borough of Clifton Heights as well as to be a great reminder: To Never Forget.

The CHFC would like to extend a generous thank you to all participants who helped in the ceremony as well as the residents who came out to support us. Thank You

9/11 Memorial Monument
This September will mark the 10th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred on September 11th, 2001. To honor all of the men and women who were lost on that day, the Clifton Heights Fire Company  will be building a 9/11 Memorial Monument. We were fortunate enough to acquire a piece of the World Trade Center steel. The steel will be placed on top of a replica "Twin Towers", they will be seated on a pentagon shaped slab of concrete, and surrounded by bricks. To help offset the cost of the Memorial, customized bricks with your personal message are available to be purchased. These personalized bricks will surround the pentagon.

The 4" x 8" bricks are $50.00 each. They can have up 3 lines of lettering with 15 characters per line. To order pleaase call the station @ 610-623-7455 or email Joanne Middaugh @ Depomps03@aol.com
